I took protonix for years. pepcid and nexium did not truly work. nexium caused a terrible aftertaste and gave me awful GAS.. zantac is the only thing that worked afterwards the insurance company stopped paying for protonix.. i've been taking generic zantac 75 mg iii to iv times a day for about ten years now… wonder if that causes bug.. (sigh)…

I don't know, I think I am going to continue to take it. Oh my gosh, my daughter and I are panicking about stores taking this product off the shelf. I take been taking 150mg of ranitidine every mean solar day for a piffling over a year as it helps me with my gallbladder issues. Kinda scared to end taking it equally if I miss one dose I get nauseated and feel like crap that for a few days until I go back on track and I'm terrified to end taking information technology. Has anyone used it for similar reason? I don't want to go gallbladder removed as doctors think that is reason why I feel nauseated only I don't have gallstones. Hida scan says 92% constructive.
